Unlike story quests, the player is able to pursue several side quests simultaneously. Chances are that many players will be doing side quests despite it taking many hours to complete all of them. These quests also have an entire chapter being devoted to, with many stories and challenges and instead focuses on the game's outer-world of survivors. Side quests are missions that are not necessary in order to move along with the story, but serve as enjoyable and a good way to gain experience, blueprints, and items. These quests help move along the main storyline and take place in three main locations The slums, Old Town and a shorter part on the antenna map. Story quests are a linear set of missions that tell the storyline of the player character, Kyle Crane.
